Shipping and Returns Policy

All orders are shipped Monday - Wednesday during described shipping times stated for each item. Shipping times are 'estimated' as we can only ship when our weather permits. Be aware that many times we still have 2' of snow on the ground with single digit temps that hit us as late as the End of May into June. Plants are then shipped at the earliest possible 'window' for the safety of your plants. Non-perishable items such as herbal products and seed are shipped normally Mondays and Thursdays throughout the year.

We use the following carriers to deliver your orders.

Order Tracking

If a tracking # is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information. Please note that orders using check or money order payments will not have tracking numbers.  Tracking of all other orders is an additional cost. If you wish to include tracking of your package, please contact us and we will send yoiu an invoice for the additional charges. Tracking numbers are only provided for free by the U.S. postal service on items sent via Priority mail. All herbal products and seed are sent by first class. If you would like us to send via priority, please contact us and we will invoice you for the additional costs.

Shipping Rates

The rate charged for the shipping of your order is based on the weight of your products, and your location and method chosen. Before the final checkout page you will be shown what the cost of shipping will be, and you will have a chance to not place your order if you decide not to.

Crop Damage

If an item you ordered suffers unforeseen crop damage, we have the right to substitute without notice with a similar item.

Return Policy

We do not accept returns, allow exchanges or refunds on any and all products including live plants or bulbs due to the nature of shipping, your planting methods or environment. Although our products and healthy plants are packed extremely well for normal careful handking while in transport, we cannot be responsible for extensive handling, blatant abuse of the postal system causing damage and/or climate conditions on it's way to you. Please be sure to purchase insurance if this is a concern of yours. You may e-mail us at any time prior to or immediatly after purchasing if you wish to purchase insurance.  We will do everything we can to help you get reimbursed by the carrier if you have chosen not to purchase insurance.

Cancellation Policy

We do not accept cancellation of orders unless you inform us within 7 days of your purchase of an emergency (natural disaster, death in family, fire or personal distress)

Refund Policy

In case of inclimate weather or loss of plants due to circumstances out of our control, we have the right to exchange your items ordered with similar varieties without notice. We do not give refunds, exchanges or accept returns on any and all seed, plants or products in our on-line store. All sales are Final.

Our Guarantee

All live plants and bulbs that leave our premises are guaranteed to be fresh, healthy and vibrant plants. All plants are dug up fresh the morning of shipping for your order. Plants are packaged very carefully with bare-roots wrapped in damp peat moss or newspaper surrounded by secure plastic wrapping. We surround the leaves with a paper wrapping to allow for the leaves to breath while on it's way to you. All other products are packaged in bubble envelopes appropriate for normal shipping and handling and may also be concealed to protect from any spillage that may occur due to extreme temps or mishandling.

Care of Plants Upon Arrival

Live plants are not meant to be in an enclosed box for 2-3 days on it's way to you so we urge special care when your plants arrive. Unwrap plants immediately from their packaging and place in water a few hours in a shaded area. If you notice any signs of leaf damage during their travel, carefully cut them off and allow the plant to rest a day or two. Set them out in a partially sunny area for the remainder of the day and if your weather permits, plant out in their permanent location the following day. If you notice any signs of wilting, dig up immediately and plant in a pot for a few days out of direct sunlight. This will help the plant to put it's energy into recouping from it's trip to you.

Some plants are more resilient than others and do not suffer much shock from shipping and these will be noticeably vibrant and perky on arrival. You may plant these out immediately. Others will noticeably have slight or drastic leaf wilt and will need special care as described above to help them through this stage. With perennial flowers, the concern is with their roots. A healthy root system (such as our plants) will continue to survive even with noticeable signs of leaf wilt. Allow the plant to replenish it's roots by adding coffee grounds to the soil when planting out to help in developing it's roots in it's new ground.
