Botanical Name: Petroselinum crispum

Description: Parsley is a hardy bi-ennial herb favorite in the garden growing 6-12" in height and can be harvested many times throughout the growing season. Normally used as a culinary herb, this herb also has many medicinal benefits.

Culinary Uses: Parsley is often used as a garnish and added to many dishes for flavor and appearance.

Medicinal Properties and Uses of Parsley: Parsley is rich in vitamins A, B, C and high in iron and trace minerals. As a tea or eaten raw, the whole plant used in the treatment of diseases of kidney, bladder, stones, congestion, allergies, arthritis, rheumatism, digestive aid, gout, lupus and cancer preventative.

Parsley Tea Recipe: Steep 1 tsp dried herb in 1 cup water. Drink as needed. Or add dried herb to any dish, sauces, stews.

Parsley Cautions: Concentrated extracts should not be taken internally for those with kidney inflammation or are pregnant.
