External Uses: Oregano is used in many salves and tinctures to help in the relief of fungal infections, arthritis pain, candidas symptoms, insect bites and other skin problems, head lice.

Medicinal Properties and Uses of Oregano: Oregano contains anti-microbial, antioxidant and anti-parisitic compounds. Oregano contains iron, vitamins, calcium, copper, niacin, magnesium and thiamine. Oregano has been used in the treatment of cancer, muscular degeneration, heart disease. Oregano taken as a tea or used as a salve inhibits bacterial growth and parasitic microorganisms.
